Desktop: Christmas in the city...
Toontown that is... This cool wreath adorns many of the lights around Toontown, marking the holiday season. I could dig one of these for the front door...

The variety of great street signs around the World Showcase is always a treat, especially when you find a sign you haven't seen before. In China you can find Xing Fu Jie, better known as Street of Good Fortune...

Refreshment Coolpost
Time for a stop at the Refreshment Outpost, sorry, Coolpost on the World Showcase. One of the Coke branded locations around the parks, this one is known for its colorful coolers from around the world. So is that water tower filled with Coke? And if there were an earthquake and it started shaking would it have the same effect as shaking a can of Coke? Hmm...

Cargo Control Center
With the reopening of Space Mountain today's photo is from their exit queue - designed as a cargo shipping adventure (following the cargo being beamed across the galaxies) when FedEx sponsored the attraction it still (at least before the rehab) was virtually the same minus the FedEx logos...

Italian doorway
Next time you are wandering around the Italy pavilion spend a couple extra minutes at the Doge Palace (modeled after the real deal in Venice), the architecture and details are terrific. Look at the door, columns, light, etc. here on the back entrance alone...

Nifty knitting
At Mickey's Toontown Fair the tent is full of county fair entries, including knit items. Like the sweater for Toby Tortise who appears to be set for winter with the whole shell covered for warmth.

Donkey cart
This little donkey and colorful cart can be found near Italy. I believe they sell refreshments from it when the weather permits, however they haven't been serving when I've been around.

Busy as a beaver
Sailing, Sailing...
Just a few of the details in one of the many nooks around the Columbia Harbour House. Model ships, rope and tackle, and so much more. No matter where you sit you are sure to have a lot to look at when you are there...

Desktop: Jolly Trolley
This weeks' desktop ventures into Toontown history and transportation. No longer in service, the old Jolly Trolley cars now seem to simply serve as a prop at the Toontown stations. I never was able to see them in service but heard they were quite the bumpy ride...

At El Rancho del Zocalo they are celebrating Dia de los Muertos in style complete with a skeleton Mariachi band and all. It is a great festive area off to one side of the eatery and the temporary residents seems to be enjoying their party...
