Mickey of the Future

When you are riding the highway in the sky take a look at the monorail cabs - this classic hidden Mickey with a futuristic (well maybe more retro-futuristic) twist is on every train. This being Mickey's 80th birthday I figured we had to celebrate with some sort of Mickey detail!

While waiting for our own Magical Express bus at Orlando International I was able to get a shot of a departing one. I love the art deco era style and of course the whole gang in the back window. Once again it shows how Imagineers can make just about anything unique and fun!

A hidden...

Sitting waiting for the Magical Express at the Orlando Airport I got a close up look at the Disney Cruise Line buses. I had never noticed the intricate scroll work, the classic nautical flag and logo symbol, and the other details on the nose of the buses. Now here is the real quiz - what other character besides Mickey can you spot in this photo?

Sassagoula Steamboat Co.

One of the most creatively named transportation options around, the Sassagoula Steamboat Co. transports guests from the Port Orleans resorts to Downtown Disney in these super-sized pontoon boats decked out to look like old fashioned boats from down south.
