El Pirata y El Perico Restaurante sits right across from Pirates of the Caribbean and, for as long as I've been going to WDW, has never once been open when I'm there. Sigh, that's what I get for going in the off season to avoid the crowds! At least the signage is interesting, someday maybe I'll be able to sample the menu...

It is a pretty good spot to eat at, when it is open... Maybe it isn't so much the season as the luck of a pirate as to whether or not you'll catch it open?!?!
Ouch, then I have horrible luck! I actually missed it by a week last time - it was going to be opening to offset Pecos Bill's rehab...
